Business Process Strategy - Commercial

The Business Strategy Specialist - Commercial at FOOM Lab Global plays a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing strategic business processes to support the organization's goals and objectives. This position involves analyzing existing processes, identifying areas for improvement, and executing strategic initiatives to enhance efficiency, streamline operations, and drive performance. The Business Strategy Specialist collaborates with cross-functional teams, provides strategic guidance, and monitors and reports on the effectiveness of process improvements.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business leaders and subject matter experts, to gather requirements, assess needs, and develop solutions for process optimization.
• Develop and implement strategic initiatives aligned with the overall organizational strategy to streamline business processes and enhance efficiency.
• Offer strategic guidance and recommendations to business leaders and managers on process optimization initiatives, drawing on best practices and emerging trends.
• Document current processes through process mapping and modeling exercises, identify bottlenecks, and recommend improvements.
• Analyze and evaluate existing business processes, including inputs, outputs, process steps, and key performance indicators (KPIs), to identify areas for improvement.
• Identify and manage risks and issues related to process optimization initiatives, and develop mitigation plans as required.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of process improvements, including change management, training, and communication efforts.
• Create and implement process documentation, such as process maps, work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and other relevant materials.
• Continuously evaluate and assess the effectiveness of business processes, making necessary adjustments to align with changing organizational needs and strategic priorities.
• Monitor and measure the effectiveness of process improvements, track progress against targets, and provide performance reports to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of process mapping, improvement methodologies, and best practices for business process optimization.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information to diverse audiences, including business leaders and stakeholders.
• Change management skills, including managing resistance to change and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
• Excellent analytical skills, capable of analyzing data, identifying process gaps, and providing recommendations for optimization.
• Strategic thinking mindset, able to align business processes with overall organizational goals and objectives.
• Bachelor's degree in business, operations management, or a related field. MBA or relevant certifications in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) preferred.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams, demonstrating strong project management skills.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proven experience in analyzing, designing, and optimizing business processes within complex organizational environments, with a focus on strategic alignment and performance improvement.
• Proficiency in using process mapping tools, document management software, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
