Assistant Sales Manager - Your future position?

As the Assistant Sales Manager, you will be primarily supporting senior colleagues in development of sales plans and activities in order to implement the organization’s overall sales strategy for an assigned client group, according to company's business objectives

In this role you will be based in Jakarta and directly report to the Key Account Manager.

In this exciting role, you will

• Develop deep distributor relationships at all levels.
• Grow Givaudan business within designated territory through prospecting and promoting flavours, offering from price list.
• Cultivate and manage customer relationships within in the designated region and develop new accounts.
• Coordinate / assist with negotiating pricing agreements within guidelines and managing credit, pricing, rebates.
• Implement promotional schemes for channel partners.
• Assist in developing and delivering internal and external customer presentations.
• Educating and developing distributors from our business extension role to business partner roles.
• Assist in tracking channel partner performance, Sales Planning and ensure sales activity is on schedule and meet sales target.
• Entry level Channel Management and under the supervision of Sales Manager
• Monitor customer and competitor activity and maintain customer information.

Your professional profile includes:

• Basic understanding of customer strategy, initiatives, priorities, and launch processes
• Effectively uses KPIs to monitor performance for channel partners
• Proficiency in common PC Applications
• Possess ability to generate new business
• Fluent English, local language desirable
• Basic understanding of competitor activities within the specified territory
• 3+ years functional/technical sales experience
• Understand key elements of Channel partner strategy including promotions/schemes.
• University degree in Science/food
