Job Description

Baskit turns every medium and small-sized wholesaler into a super-powered mini-distributor by providing sales enablement software, go-to-market services, and supply chain financing.

We are looking for an Account Manager to join our team and work closely with the Head of Commercial and Area Manager. As an Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in establishing and optimizing our national operations as we expand across Java and beyond, focusing on upstream transactions. The ideal candidate will have a background as an Account Manager or Merchandiser with experience in the FMCG industry, particularly in big-volume transactions. You should have strong trade marketing executive or sales operations experience and a deep understanding of the dynamics between wholesalers, distributors, retailers, and modern trade channels. Depending on your level of experience, this role could be either an Account Manager or a Merchandiser position.


IMPORTANT: Our office is located in BSD, and occasional travel may be required. We are currently looking for candidates who can be based in Jakarta/BSD or Bandung only.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide support in following up on partnerships, including administration and agreements.
  • Identify buyers for big-volume transactions in upstream operations.
  • Monitor data and perform reconciliations as required.
  • Source suppliers and retailers with significant sales volumes and back-door transactions .


Requirements:

  • Ability to mitigate risks and effectively manage categories.
  • Five years of experience in FMCG business, with a focus on big volume transactions.
  • Bachelor's degree from a reputable university.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in Excel for data analysis.
  • Fluency in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.
