Jardine Schindler Group (JSG) is a joint venture between Jardine Matheson (est.1832) and Schindler Group(est.1874). JSG is specialized in design, engineer, install, maintain and modernize elevators, escalators and moving walkways in Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Taiwan, Vietnam, the Philippines, Macau, Myanmar, Brunei and Cambodia. On average, 100 million people throughout the Asia Pacific regions will be transported by equipment supplied and maintained by JSG on any given day.

Service Manager
We Elevate... Your Responsibilities
- Carry out area business activities in accordance with company policies, guidelines and procedures.
- Organize inspections or patrols and take remedial action if necessary.
- Ensure company’s Safety and Health procedures, work instructions, programmes and requirements are implemented in responsible areas / activities.
- Ensure all inspection / measuring / test equipment used including suppliers and sub-contractors are properly calibrated.
- Actively promote safety awareness to prevent accidents.
- Manage Existing Installation area portfolio in order to achieve Service, Repair and MOD targets.
- Motivate staff and technicians to build good team work.
- Overall responsible for site Safety and Health issues at responsible area / activities.
- Portfolio growth by conversion, recovery and gain.
- To manage and lead the Area Operation.
- Perform inspection and ensure compliance and corrective actions are carried.
- Manage and handle area portfolio to propose and negotiate for Service contract, Repair Sales and MOD Sales and target.
- Report, investigate injuries, damages and loss incurred.
- Promote action to prevent occurrence of accidents and initiate analysis to discover accident trends.

- Desired escalator product, market and industry knowledge, Communication skills, IT skills, English skills. Customer oriented behavior. Schindler Leadership Framework behaviors required.
- Desired completed university education in Technical, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or Industrial Engineering
- Experienced in elevator and escalator industry for at least ten years. Ability to lead a team and with technical background. Market knowledge and strategic thinking.
