Senior Logistics Coordinator Jobs

PT. Medan Bioenergy Nusantara (MBN) is a rapidly expanding renewable commodities trader with a hyper-focus on direct origination of bio-feedstock material - primarily Used Cooking Oil and Palm Oil Mill Effluent for biodiesel production as well as Biodiesel itself.

We develop complex supply chains within challenging locations to source sustainable and renewable materials for biofuel production. We bulk, store, blend and deliver these volumes to our end clients with attentive care to quality and sustainability compliance.

We are looking for a SeniorLogistic Operator with details below;

• Making special shipping arrangements as necessary
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, suppliers, inspectors, trade counterparties, brokers and ground staff to ensure smooth execution of cargo
• Arrange shipment schedules and documents
• Manage quality control with supply partners and staff to ensure quality & quantity
• Managing cost optimization through negotiation and cost structure of our trades
• Reviewing purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy
• Developing processes that make the supply chain more efficient and organized
• Coordinating logistic arrangement with transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments

Qualifications

• Quick critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Understanding of the supply chain, including common obstacles and effective solutions
• Having an international trading background would be prioritized
• Bachelor's degree or Master's in any majors
• Having 3 - 5 years of related industry experience
• Effective communication, including writing, speaking and interpersonal communication
