Job Description

We are looking for a professional and customer service-oriented Retail Operations Supervisor to oversee daily operations at our stores. As Retail Operations Supervisor, you will supervise the operational and organizational standards of the stores. Your duties will include undertaking administrative tasks and managing the store’s employees, including hiring, performance evaluation, scheduling, and assigning duties and responsibilities by training, coaching, and developing the team. You may also be involved in developing new strategies.

The ideal candidate must be able to improve customer satisfaction and meet monthly sales goals. In addition to being an excellent communicator, you should also demonstrate outstanding leadership and interpersonal skills.


Responsibilities

  • Creating business strategies to attract new customers, expand store traffic, and enhance profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Develop policies for the merchandising of goods in retail stores
  • Evaluate operational and financial records to determine the sales performance of a retail store.
  • Visit retail establishments to ensure efficient and effective management as well as high-performance sales
  • Mentor and motivate sales staff to put in their best in order to achieve financial goals
  • Direct and supervise retail staff across several retail outlets to ensure they meet set objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with health/safety policies and procedures at retail sites
  • Listen to customer complaints to address & resolve their issues
  • Provide solutions that address performance issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Liaise with the Visual Merchandiser and the floor Team to set up a visually appealing layout for store merchandise.
  • Develop and implement budget and plans for retail operations
  • Analyze operational expenses and the cost of inventory to identify losses and develop a strategy for increased profits.
  • Developing and arranging promotional material and in-store displays.
  • Understanding the impact that visual merchandising and balance of price points have on customer conversion, average spending and gross profit margin results
  • Provide training to retail employees to develop their skills and enhance their job performance.
  • Responsible for the complete process of setting up new stores.


Skills & Knowledge :

  • Worked in a fast pace, high-turnover store
  • The ability to plan and prioritize workloads and delegate accordingly
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, retail management, or related field
  • Good standard of numerical skills.
  • The ability to multi-task and work under pressure
  • To manage and lead the team ensuring consistent and exceptional standard of customer service in the store, ensuring the team members are engaging, acknowledging, courteous, developing an excellent product knowledge to engage with the customers.
  • 3-5 years experience in progressively responsible positions in retail operations management
  • Strong organizational, time management, and decision-making skills
