Receptionist & Hostel Manager (Bali)

Receptionist & Hostel Manager position will oversee all hostel management and responsible in front desk work includes; checkin - checkout guest, guest assistance, and related task.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create and follow a plan to maintain the desired atmosphere in the hostel
• Create specific task lists for each position
• Creating and advertising promotions
• Liaising with tour operators
• Arrange and implement a preventative maintenance schedule
• Keep up to date on employment laws
• Conduct performance evaluations
• Assist with transportation requests
• Establish and follow an operational budget
• Conduct routine site inspections to identify and resolve problems with the facilities
• Record and respond to guest concerns
• Request feedback and ideas from each team member
• Maintain accurate reservation information
• Organize and execute activities and special events
• Create monthly Profit and Loss reports
• Record duties, expenses, challenges, successes and areas for improvement for each event for replication
• Respond to emails
• Maintain accurate records of expenses and revenue
• Salary negotiations
• Implement bonus plans for performance of staff and management
• Engage guests directly
• Issue work contracts
• Organize and distribute payroll checks
• Staff selection
• Ensure team morale and motivation
• Pay bills and collect debts in a manner that maintains a positive cash flow
• Maintain the hostel facilities in proper working order
• Conduct check-in and checkout procedures
• Interact with guests
• Provide local and regional information
• Respond to guest and staff feedback regarding broken or malfunctioning items
• Update bed allocation for online booking sites

Requirements:

• Minimum experience 2 years in Hotel Industry
• All gender can apply but female will be prefered and given high consideration for this position
• Indonesian citizen
• Already live in Bali
• Able to Travel Domestic and Abroad
• Fluent in English is a must and native in Bahasa Indonesia
• Understand computer, ms.office, email and internet
• Have own laptop for work
• Young, Energetic, Responsible, And Good Manner Attitude
• Background Study in Hotel Industry (Minimum diploma degree required)
