As the world's second-largest contributor to marine plastic pollution, our mission is to combat this issue by providing everyday essentials in reusable and returnable packaging. Through our deposit and reward system, we're substituting non-recyclable, single-use packaging, and making a significant impact on reducing plastic waste at its source.

About the Role:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Excellence Lead to join our team. As the Operations Excellence Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our supply chain, logistics, and inventory management processes. Your responsibilities will include optimizing operational processes, driving continuous improvement, and implementing best practices to enhance our overall operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and guidance to the operations team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, implementing innovative strategies and technologies to drive operational efficiency.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and develop and implement strategies to drive operational excellence.
• Maintain and improve business process quality.
• Analyze operational data and performance metrics to identify trends, areas for improvement, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational performance and track progress towards operational goals.
• Optimize and streamline end-to-end supply chain processes, including procurement, warehousing, and distribution, to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
• Identify and work with external parties such as daily workers providers and third party logistics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement best practices and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and efficiency in operations.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including lean methodologies and process optimization projects, to enhance productivity and quality.

Qualifications:

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven track record of driving operational excellence and implementing process improvement initiatives.
• Familiarity with Odoo is a big plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Experience in leading and managing teams.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles, logistics operations, and inventory management.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in operations management or related roles, preferably within the consumer goods industry.
• Familiarity with sustainable packaging solutions is a plus.
