Senior Associate - Center Of Operations And Financial Excellence

About The Role

This role will be working alongside the COFE team that is responsible for Tokopedia's Marketplace business stream. In this role, you will be working closely with business leaders in analyzing and improving business growth by being involved in operational and financial excellence. Your understanding of business and financial data will be significant in determining the business growth of Tokopedia's Marketplace.

What You Will Do

• Manage operational excellence / strategic development by consolidating OKR Setting, Reviewing & Calibrating, organizing and own process of annual strategic development cycle for Tokopedia (i.e Virtual retreat to discuss 2021 strategy session), partnering with BU/Function leaders on ad-hoc strategic projects, monthly/quarterly business review
• Execute data analysis and business impact modeling/development for business cases in Tokopedia
• Involve in strategic ad-hoc projects for Marketplace, i.e. problem-solving, PMO, and co-lead ops/execution with the business team
• Manage financial excellence by executing FP&A - weekly estimate call plus supporting CF in investor activity, consolidating business model and 5-year projections by BU leaders, consolidating & create multiple internal books (base vs stretch)
• Perform financial controller by executing PR approval at workday (Cost controller - both marketing and OPEX), approve cash-out transactions for operational and investing activities, review and approve business hearings / Intools / etc

What You Will Need

• At least 2 years of work experience in related fields; Corporate Strategy, Corporate Development, and/or CEO Office
• Structured, factual, and data-driven professional
• Highly driven and show a willingness to learn new things
• Previous experience in management consulting/corporate strategy/project management is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in finance and business background is preferred

We call ourselves COFE, and we work directly with the C Suites on a regular basis (CEO, CFO, COO). Besides executive levels, we also work closely with Business Unit leaders to deliver projects that contribute to topline and/or bottom-line improvement. We deliver insights & recommendations to the leaders that help them make decisions for the business, and hence it is a fast-paced environment with a high bar on output quality (structured, robust, reliable). We also partner up with the best Data Analysts team -- our responsibility is not on providing data but making actionable recommendations based on the data.
