Managing Director Jobs

Our client, a leading provider to prestigious consumer companies, is seeking an experienced Managing Director to spearhead the expansion of their operations and drive sales across multiple categories. This exciting opportunity is based in Jakarta, Indonesia, and reports directly to the APAC CEO, who is based in Singapore.

Responsibilities:

• Assume leadership of the sales team, cultivating relationships with our top 10 clients while assessing the performance of local distribution partners.
• Collaborate in designing and implementing a comprehensive Country strategy with both short and long-term objectives.
• Identify untapped market opportunities and facilitate the expansion of product offerings. Foster close collaboration between the local sales and marketing team and the regional HQ in Singapore.
• Foster the development of a strong company culture that promotes excellence, innovation, and teamwork.
• Streamline the overall supply chain to enhance client satisfaction by improving delivery speed and cost-efficiency.
• Cultivate new sourcing channels within Indonesia, ensuring a robust supply chain network.

Skills and Requirements:

• Experience working with FMCG clients in a similar capacity.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering is highly preferred, with a Master's Degree in Engineering or Business Management considered a valuable asset.
• Fluency in Indonesian, preferably as a native speaker.
• Minimum of 15 years of corporate experience, including at least 3 years in P&L management, preferably with good exposure to supply chain operations.
• Possesses charisma, exceptional team-building skills, resilience, and an ambitious go-getter mentality.
