Multinationals & International Subsidiary Banking is an international proposition which aims to provide banking coverage to the subsidiaries of our global clients in Commercial Banking (CMB) and Global Banking (GB). The strategy is to provide consistent, in-depth and dedicated coverage across the HSBC network with the end goal to deepen our relationship with our customers. The International business is a significant contributor of revenue to WSB and consists of a network of dedicated bankers across more than 40 countries.

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join this team in the role of Manager RM - Multinationals & International Subsidiary Banking.

Responsibilities:

The RM will manage a portfolio of MNC or ISB clients with simple degree of client complexity. The jobholder will be accountable for sales, services, risk, and operational delivery of the assigned portfolios. In addition, he/she will also contribute towards specific strategic initiatives such as Corridor Champion, Sector Champion, and Unbanked Subsidiaries. The aim is to (i) increase market penetration locally and profitability within the framework of HBID MNC ISB strategic plan (ii) acquire new relationships and protecting as well as growing share of wallet of existing relationships (iii) ensure synergies in delivering & maximizing returns to our franchise; ensure GRMs/RRMs/Country Desks are aware, focused, and prioritize Indonesia (iv) collaborate with product partners at all times and effective use of various platforms to support client agenda and client activities (v) have wide connections within and outside of HSBC to maximize business development opportunities and achieve targets in a competitive environment (vi) proactively manage risk including but not limited to credit risk, market risk, operational risk, financial crime risk.

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Proactive, customer driven approach, with a strong sales and marketing orientation and entrepreneurial spirit.
• Good understanding of corporate banking products.
• Good understanding of the local market, including regulatory landscape.
• Corporate banking experience and preferably with recent exposure in a front line role, including exposure to sales, credit, risk assessment and trade finance.
• Effective communication skills across all levels.
• Well-developed interpersonal, influencing and presentation skills with highly motivated and prepared to accept challenges mindset.
• Track record of portfolio growth and new to bank business acquisition.
• Relevant Risk Management Certification
