Job Description
Are you an experienced Inside Sales or Indoor Sales Executive but feel you have reached the ceiling in your current role? Are you sufficiently compensated for your business contribution? We have enjoyed another very successful year here at cargo-partner and our ambitious expansion plans are in full flow after recently opening new offices in Spain, Mexico, and India and with new offices set to open later this year across Europe, the US, and Asia adding to our 4000+ workforce in 160 offices across 40 countries. We are growing our sales division in Indonesia and we are looking for an Inside Sales Executive that has extensive freight forwarding experience particularly within Air and Ocean Freight sales.


In this crucial role, you will both support our Business Development Managers and source new sales opportunities by researching accounts, identifying key players and generate interest in our cargo-partner Sea and Air product portfolio whilst building strong long lasting relationships with new and existing customers. To succeed at cargo-partner you will need to have demonstrative experience in targeting, researching, and hunting new business leads and preferably a knowledge of the freight forwarding industry through education or previous experience.

What you will do:


  • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales person for further development and closure
  • CRM data management
  • Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
  • Assistance with mail correspondence
  • Working very closely with sales person to build pipeline and close deals
  • Sales Administration
  • Issuance of official quotation
  • Report Analysis
  • Source new sales opportunities or secure customer visits through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
  • Achieve monthly KPI
  • Arranging and coordination of appointments
  • Telephone sales to follow up with proposals
  • Understand customer needs and requirements


What you will bring:


  • Self-driven, good attitude, integrity and resourceful
  • Knowledge of both Air & Sea Cargo are preferred
  • Customer Service Oriented
  • Achievement oriented
  • At least 3 years of experience in freight forwarding industry and in an MNC environment
  • Strive well under stress
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Telephone and Customer Service skills
  • Good problem solving and ability to anticipate coming situations
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
  • Diploma in Freight Forwarding or related qualifications
