Hook Up & Commission Engineer

Job Overview:
Over-all responsibility is to assist Senior Commissioning Engineer in Commissioning of Mechanical/Electrical Systems.
Responsibilities
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Preservation control requirements implementation and preparation of material take-off for all the required preservation materials.
• Preparation of material take-off for all the required preservation materials.
• Populating PIMS for the engineering tagged items required for preservation.
• Assists Senior Commissioning Engineer in Mechanical/Electrical Commissioning executions.
• Attending/ provide training and provide feedback/improvement as required.
• Assists Senior Commissioning Engineer.
• Support and disseminate Engineering policies and Yard procedures, participate for any improvements.
• Liaison with customer in clearing each Inspection & Test Record based on the required frequency of inspection and verification of the preserved equipment.
• Coordinating any corrective actions, if required.
• Prepares tasks sheets to confirm allocated man-hours, temporaries and labors for Mechanical/Electrical commissioning activities.
• Support Division Engineering for providing input to the bid and historical data from the projects.
• Setting up and implementing the controls / systems described in procedure during storage, construction and commissioning phase.
• Recording all Lesson Learned of the Project.
• Monitor and give assistance for receiving / QC inspector if needed.
• Assists Senior Commissioning Engineer in populating Commissioning Management System.
• High standard of safe working practice, quality and productivity as well as compliance with the code of business conducts.
• Preparing project Close-out report.

Qualifications
Essential Qualifications and Education:

• Min. 8 years of experiences in the same position.
• Possess Undergraduate degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
