Job Description
Group Head of Nursing reports to a BOD member; plans, implements, monitors and evaluates nurse care related strategies and initiatives to deliver high quality of care in all hospital unit under the group/hospital chain. Promotes leadership and teamwork among Nurse Leaders/Head in all hospital units, and harmonious relationship among the staffs. 
Facilitates positive change management for smooth adoption of new technologies, productivity initiatives, policies, processes and procedures standardization. 
Implements new or emerging competencies to support role, job redesign or nurse-led initiatives for healthcare transformation and changing demographics
Implements action plans to effect improvements in hospital nursing care
Facilitates resolution of inter-personal and interdisciplinary conflicts and grievances
Resolves issues related to care, coordination and service lapses
Conducts regular performance review of Nurse Leaders/Heads in all hospital units to support their professional development required for high performing organisation
Provides coaching/preceptorship resources for staff and talent development
Developing a standard of care that adheres to national  law and regulations and enhance compliance to all nursing division in all hospital units. 
Participating in management team conferences to discuss the status of nursing division in all hospital units and patients
Oversees budget and resources utilisation
CLINICAL:
Monitors outcomes of complex nursing care plan and provides recommendation on clinical management and intervention as indicated
Support medical division in developing hospital group centre of excellence. 
Enforces compliance to evidence based clinical standards of care and professional code of conduct
Oversees the delivery of nurse’ education and caregiving training
Maintains an open and just culture that promotes nurse safety and incident reporting
Implements continuous quality improvement and nurse safety measures or initiatives to improve nurse care
Identifies and implements new programmes for the nurse and special projects to meet any service gaps
Analyses trends and changing needs of the residents in institutional settings. Plans nursing care based on changing trend.
Ensures service quality standard and cost-effective service are maintained and enhanced, where necessary.
Ensures quality audits are planned and conducted periodically.
TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT:
Collaborates with multi-professional stakeholders to execute training plans.
Implements improvement plans following quality reviews and audit findings.
Communicates nursing and organisational career development and pathways for nurses and staff.
Identifies and facilitates nursing staff’s training development.
JOB REQUIREMENT:
At least 8 years of nursing experience, preferably with multi ward-based experience
Bachelor Degree in Nursing, preferably with post graduate qualification
Registered with Indonesian Nursing Board (for local talent)
Prior experience in a managerial or supervisory role in a similar work environment
Preferably coming from Type B or Type A hospital
Proficient in oral and written English
Ability to handle/resolve operational issues at ground level
Demonstrates good communications and people engagement skills
Able to form networks and strong linkages with stakeholders
Prior training experience would be an advantage
Passionate to grow nursing compassion in the heart of the nurses
Good leadership with passion to bring the whole team into success
Strong determination to carry out service excellence
