Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic General Manager of Operations to join our team at 12WIRED. As the GM Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing our Finance Operations and any other administration of business operation support. You will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our company's financial processes and driving operational efficiency.


Responsibilities


Finance Operations

  • Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, cash flow management and financial reporting.
  • Analyse financial data and provide insights to senior management for strategic decision-making.
  • Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Coordinate with the finance team to ensure timely and accurate financial transactions and reconciliations.


Business Operations Support

  • Develop and enforce standardized procedures and workflows across the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategy to optimize cost, quality, and on time delivery of goods and services.
  • Streamline administrative processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to drive productivity.
  • Conduct supplier performance evaluations and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee general administrative functions, including office facilities, vendor management, and employee services.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure SOP compliance and identify areas of non-compliance.
  • Develop and implement strategies for effective resource allocation and utilization.
  • Identify and qualify appropriate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships.
  • Collaborate with various departments to identify and address operational bottlenecks.
  • Continuously review and enhance Business Operations Support SOP to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and provide timely solutions.
  • Monitor procurement processes to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.


Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge of financial management principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing finance operations and driving process improvements.
  • Strong decision-making skills and the ability to provide sound financial recommendations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to identify and resolve operational challenges effectively.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Strong understanding of financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance roles, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership position.
  • Experience with financial software and systems for financial management and reporting.
  • General knowledge or experience (preferred) in GA and procurement field.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Excellent leadership abilities with the capacity to inspire and motivate a team.
