The Role

About

I am looking to hire a heart-centered, systems driven virtual marketing assistant to support my projects, business automation operations and copywriting while working remotely. Bluntly, I’m seeking my marketing right hand.

As a virtual marketing assistant, you will be working directly with me!

You will be helping with the execution of marketing campaigns, building marketing automation like email campaigns, creating assets & visuals (in Canva) like landing pages, websites, drafting email copies, prioritizing operational tasks, curating and creating (authentic) content, documenting SOPs etc.

Additional tasks would also include: online research, handling administrative tasks, maintaining or setting up websites. (WordPress).

Ideally, you are interested in learning / advancing using AI to support your work ! (Not just GPT) and are also an aspiring business system wizard.

Business Tasks

Your responsibilities will include:

• Conduct in-depth research and organize them in a mannerly way (or able to have the questions answered)
• Create engaging and SEO-friendly content with guidelines given
• Business Prospecting: Researching and creating a prospect list that fits the ICP
• *Customize engaging authentic, non salesy copy for email, website, landing pages, social media, and other marketing materials
• Prioritize, organize, and execute project activities from meetings
• Assist with the execution of marketing campaigns & client projects
• Sending Emails & Follow-ups
• Assist with light video & audio editing - with AI tools (Descript. Gling. Capcut)
• Set up and maintain WordPress sites, landing pages (Using AI to speed up the process - like 10web)
• Assist with setting up internal business systems & automation using tools like Zapier, Make.com - sometimes with light coding to handle JSON API Requests

Personal Tasks

• Regrouping and checking in to make sure we are on our way to our goals
• Social Media Content Curation // Topic Research & Script Outline
• Light Bookkeeping - Keeping Track of Expenses

Ideal Profile

Preferred Experiences / Qualifications

• You can set up and maintain WordPress sites, landing pages
• Fluent in English (near native-level) both speaking and writing to be able to liaise effectively to different stakeholders across the region.
• You are an aspiring Business System Wizard 🪄, and are familiar with tools like Zapier, Make.com etc
• Have copywriting experience or have written non-salesy, authentic emails, landing pages, video sales letters.
• You are analytical, detail-oriented, tech savvy and a fast learner that wants to work to build businesses that are heart based & purpose driven.
• You have an eye for design, proficient in design tools like Canva
• You know light coding to handle JSON API Requests (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript) to assist with specific automation build & website building (https://codingreflections.com/)
• Have worked a minimum of 2 years in marketing, communication or related field

Soft Skills

• Resilient, high execution & problem-solving abilities to get things done
• Proficiency in marketing automation software (ActiveCampaign)
• Light video editing skills: you know how to keep videos engaging and insert B-rolls when needed (with AI tools like Descript)
• Self-driven, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently.
• Fast learner with new tools, skills or concepts
• Strong time management and organizational skills, demonstrable ability to adhere to deadlines
• You are adaptable, you understand that planning is necessary but that changing a plan is part of the game
• Good understanding of office management and marketing principles

Nice To Have

• Can read Mandarin Chinese to be able to liaise to different stakeholders across the region.
• 2 years of experience working as a virtual assistant for a CEO, executive, entrepreneur, or a business owner.
• You use memes and listen to Alan Watts
• Ability to use AI to increase efficiency in your workflow
• Ability to turn ideas into graphs or visuals
