Director Of Operations / Production Manager

The ideal candidate will own the entire production process. They will strategize with other internal teams to ensure operational excellence. The will also run quality assessment to ensure high standards are continually met.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for coordination with Directory, R&D, PPIC, Costing, Warehouse, Sub-Contractors and Via Motif USA in determining production times, scheduling, managing raw materials and developing production efficiency
• Manage and evaluate entire production process to achieve production targets
• Reports to Company Director
• Evaluate production performance, plan strategies and create operating systems to drive production efficiency and capacity while always maintaining quality standards
• Control costs by ensuring that company expenses are always within the planned budget and assist the Costing Department in calculating both raw material and labor costs
• Responsible for monitoring raw material stock and inventory planning, including ensuring proper demand planning and goods procurement
• Responsible for planning and coordinating the procurement of raw materials prior to and during the production process
• Lead and monitor quality assessments to ensure customer satisfaction; Responsible for cross-checking with warehouse the quality of incoming components, materials and products produced with suppliers and sub contractors. Work collectively with Quality Control to monitor every stage of production to ensure that product quality is maintained to highest standards
• Maintain a safe production environment for all workers
• Responsible for ensuring that all production machines, heavy equipment and other infrastructure are properly operated and maintained

Qualifications

• Strong leadership skills and integrity
• Fluent in English speaking and communication
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with employees senior management and external parties
• Strong management and organization skills and ability to work under pressure
• 5+ years of manufacturing / industry / production experience; preferably with prior experience working with U.S. or other foreign owned PMA
• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to analyze production flow and make sound recommendations based on the analysis of results
• Minimum education S1/S2 in Engineering / Industrial Management / Operational Management / Industrial Design
