Director Of Public Relations - Ayana Bali

We are seeking a Director of Public Relations with a strong background in the hospitality industry. The person will help nurture a strong relationship with various media stakeholders and increase awareness of AYANA in both traditional and social media.
Responsibilities

• Manage media inquiries and interview requests
• Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends affecting clients and make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy surrounding them
• Coordinate all public relations activities
• Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within business and industry media
• Evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships, and advertising on an ongoing basis.
• Create content for press releases, byline articles and keynote presentations
• Monitor, analyze, and communicate PR results on a quarterly basis
• Develop media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast and online media
• Build relationships with thought leaders to grow industry awareness
• Develop a marketing communications plan including strategy, goals, budget and tactics

Requirements

• Native proficiency required in English speaking and writing
• Minimum 3 years of PR experience in the hospitality industry
• Event planning experience
• Experience in acting as a company spokesperson; comfortable and skilled in both broadcast and print media interviews
• Proven track record designing and executing successful public relations campaigns at both a national & international level
• Strong relationships with both local and national business and hospitality media outlets
