Your Day to day:
The Assistant Director of Sales assists the Director of Sales and Marketing and all sales activities and events. Assistant Director of Sales engages with guest and makes sure that the service level is exceeding guest’s expectations. ensures that the Sales team respects and lives up to the IHG standards.

• Assists in producing, implementing and monitoring action plans to ensure Revenue Plan objectives are achieved
• Co-ordinates the development of all promotional material
• Drive a great working environment for teams to thrive - linking up departments to create sense of one team
• Train colleagues to make sure they deliver with compliance and to the standards we expect
• Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments
• Direct/Manage everyday activity, plan and assign work ensuring you always have the right staffing numbers
• Develop your team and improve their performance through coaching and feedback, and create performance and development goals for colleagues
• Provides direction on and conducts market research
• Meets with guests from major producers/organizers of big events staying in the hotel to ensure customer satisfaction
