Your day to day
Director of Wellness is responsible for monitoring and coordinating activities of Spa team members, delivering Spa services, including retail, foot reflexology, program coordination, reservations, reception desk, massage and locker room areas. Also ensuring guest and employee satisfaction and achieving the operating budget.

• Evaluate Spa performance on a daily basis and take corrective action when necessary
• Emphasizes guest satisfaction during all departmental meetings and focuses on continuous improvement.
• Supports a Spa orientation program for employees to receive the appropriate new hire training to successfully perform their job.
• Solicits employee feedback, utilizing an “open door” policy and reviewing employee satisfaction results to identify and address employee problems or concerns.
• Ensures the appropriate manning levels exist on a daily basis for all positions such as, spa welcomer, Spa Therapist and Spa Attendant.
• Ensure hourly scheduling of staff that meets demand for services to include scheduled meal/rest breaks
• Manages supplies and maintains equipment inventories within budget.
• Ensures the compliance to Brand Safety Standards in all Spa areas
• Establishes and maintains open, collaborative relationships with employees and ensuring employees do the same within the team.
• Comprehends budgets, operating statements and payroll progress reports as needed to assist in the financial management of department.
• Understands the impact of department’s operations on the overall property financial goals and objectives and managing to achieve or exceed budgeted goals.
• Complies with all Hotel and corporate guidelines (eg. signage guidelines, safety guidelines, etc.)
• Empowers employees to provide excellent customer service.
• Interacts with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels.
• Builds and maintains relationships with internal and external customers.
• Monitoring overall service standards in relation to operational policies and procedures
