About The Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our Company as a Customer Services Marketing professional. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer support while also supporting our marketing initiatives. Your ability to build strong relationships with customers, address their inquiries and concerns, and contribute to marketing campaigns will play a crucial role in enhancing customer satisfaction and promoting our products and services.
What is Customer service Marketing?
Customer Service Marketing is involving the strategic integration of customer service and marketing efforts to enhance customer satisfaction, promote company products and services, and build strong customer relationships. It entails providing exceptional customer support, addressing inquiries and concerns, and ensuring a positive customer experience. Simultaneously, it involves supporting marketing initiatives by leveraging customer interactions to gather feedback, identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling, and contribute to the development and execution of marketing campaigns. The goal is to deliver outstanding customer service while effectively promoting the company’s offerings and fostering long-term customer loyalty in the education tech industry.
Role and Responsibilities
- Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing concerns, resolving complaints, and maintaining a helpful and friendly demeanor.
- Respond to customer inquiries via various channels (phone, email, chat) promptly and professionally.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs, and identifying opportunities to provide personalized assistance.
- Provide product information, troubleshoot issues, and offer solutions to customer problems.
- Proactively engage with customers to gather feedback, gather testimonials, and identify potential upsell or cross-sell opportunities.
- Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns and initiatives, ensuring alignment with customer needs and preferences.
- Support lead generation efforts by capturing customer insights and feedback, identifying potential leads, and providing data for market research.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify customer success stories and leverage them for marketing purposes.
- Contribute to the creation of marketing materials, such as website content, blog posts, social media updates, and email newsletters.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven experience in customer service or customer-facing roles, preferably in the education or technology industry.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle customer complaints and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Positive attitude, resilience, and a strong customer-centric mindset.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Knowledge of marketing principles and techniques, including content creation and social media management.
- Proficiency in written and verbal communication, with the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and empathize with customers.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and support ticketing platforms.
