About the Opportunity

Immer is seeking a dedicated and experienced Volunteer Project Manager to join our team and oversee the successful development and delivery of the Immer platform. As a Project Manager, you will play a vital role in coordinating and managing all aspects of the project, ensuring that it meets the set objectives and timelines.

Responsibilities:

• Assign tasks to team members and ensure they have the necessary resources and support to complete their assignments.
• Track and report project status, including key metrics, to stakeholders and provide regular project updates.
• Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
• Develop a detailed project plan, including tasks, dependencies, and milestones, and track progress against the plan.
• Facilitate effective communication between cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners/vendors.
• Plan, execute, and monitor the entire project lifecycle, including scope definition, resource allocation, timeline management, and risk assessment.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals, deliverables, and success criteria.
• Coordinate and lead project team meetings, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among team members.
• Proactively identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential problems.
• Monitor project budgets and resources, ensuring efficient utilization and making adjustments as needed.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, preferably in the software development or technology industry.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
• Proven track record of successfully managing projects from initiation to completion.
• Detail-oriented mindset, with a focus on delivering high-quality results within agreed timelines.
• PMP or other relevant project management certifications are a plus.
