Associate Manager, Procurement Jobs

As the Associate Manager, Procurement, you will have to deliver cost savings target by identifying and implementing regional cost savings opportunity in SC Johnson (SCJ). You will drive continuous improvement in Customer Service, Capability, Sustainability, and support Innovation & Growth by providing subject matter expertise.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Identify and implement regional/local cost savings opportunities and work cross-functionally with Procurement Portfolio and Design to Value (DTV) to meet regional cost savings target
• Partner with Planning to review SCJ demand and supplier capacity plans through Regional Step 3 in Customer Service and collaborate with Planning to create list of supplier lead-time reduction and Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) opportunities
• Support Global Mold Management and drive continuous improvement in PIR process, 3PM pricing program and own pricing cadence and pricing accuracy
• Drive Cost & Freight (CFR) improvement through Procurement Operational Excellence and Partner with Quality to identify and address (root cause) quality issues with goal of reducing overall Part Per Million (PPM)
• Support Redundancy Elimination by providing subject matter expertise
• Support New Product Development (NPD)s by supporting commercialization and driving speed to achieve project timelines
• Provide input to Procurement Portfolio in their managing inflation and manage regional Price Purchase Variant (PPV)
• Champion Responsible Sourcing program by liaise and deal with supplier and support Global Sustainability request and program
• Support and participate in all Audit activities and collaborate with Capabilities to implement supplier on/off boarding process and update supplier Code of Conduct
• Conduct local/regional market analysis and provide input to relevant portfolio strategies and lead resolution of supply issues (operation excellence)

Required Skills / Experience / Competencies

• Bachelor’s in Engineering, Finance, Business or any relevant field
• Supplier management experience
• Minimum 5 to 7 years’ experience in direct Procurement
