Total Productive Maintenance Expert

The TPM Expert will drive the successful deployment of the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) strategy in the APP Pulp Business Unit. The role is accountable for deploying appropriate TPM methodology and developing improvement programs in the Mills facilities, while planning, actuating, monitoring and reporting progress. TPM Expert will work closely with Mills Management, TPM coordinators and functional leaders to drive loss elimination and value creation across TPM pillars to reach Mill’s goals.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Standardized TPM Strategy and Program across the Mills:

• Alignment and driving company’s strategy into TPM and continuous improvement strategy and program to support Mills objectives and KPIs

• Facilitate major plant initiatives and drive a Zero Accident, Breakdowns, Chronic, and Defect

• Proactively suggest ideas that boost the value creation in achieving organizational goals

• Facilitate, support and drive root cause analysis as well as effective measurement of corrective, preventive and predictive actions

• Facilitate and lead the rapid improvements in safety, quality and performance thru relevant tools and techniques

• Review and standardize of Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and Working Instruction (WI) in operation process in supporting safety, quality and Mills operation excellence

Lead and drive TPM implementation across the Mills:

• Establish, support and shared accountability in the succession of TPM deployment

• Process implementation to ensure effective best practice sharing and learning in accelerating mutual progress and achievement

• Serve as mentor/coach to develop operation excellence in application of TPM methodologies and change leadership

• Lead, coach, and solicit input from team members to drive successful execution of BU and Mills goals

• Facilitate and coordinate training (TPM, Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen, etc) as when it is required

• Monitor, audit and assess progress against the plan

• Establish a clear communication about performance expectation with SMART concept as well as participation in the regular performance review especially on OEE performance and TPM implementation across the mills

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Six Sigma Black Belt Certified and/or Lean Manufacturing or JIPM certified is a plus.
• Bachelor’s Degree in business, Engineering or related field
• Influence leadership in a complex environment
• 10+ years progressive technical experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience in TPM (JIPM) deployment and leadership
• Organizational change leadership
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in Bahasa and English. Mandarin is a plus.
• Ability in deployment of TPM strategy & continuous improvement programs
• Functional leadership across a multi-site network
