Technical Business Analyst For Fintech Company

Wolkk is seeking a full time Technical Business Analyst. It's a long term position and you will be working on a project for our client, an International FinTech company.

Our client’s business is growing and changing daily.They have developed a truly powerful set of solutions that our customers love.To ensure we continue to deliver best practice and wow our customers they must listen to them and continue to deliver products that rock their world!For this reason, your role as BA is critical to the team’s success.Reporting to the Product Manager, you will be responsible for enabling the delivery of outstanding customer solutions that continue to solve core business problems in the KYC and Fraud prevention space.

You will work closely with customers, product management and the development teams to create customer stories that allow the development team to design solutions that solve real problems effectively.

Responsibilities:

Know your craft. You apply human-centered design to a variety of projects that improve the experience of our products, services and environments. You:

• Conduct research and synthesize findings into actionable outcomes. You will be analyzing relevant considerations such as user needs, product strategy and roadmaps, technical environment and constraints.
• Collaborate with our engineers and product managers to ship great designs.
• Will be working end-to-end on projects: from finding the right problem to tackle, through to research, exploring solutions and refining them into simple, elegant designs.
• Create lo-fi wireframes, prototypes, journey maps and hi-fi designs

Continuous improvement. You use customer insights and data to define and prioritize opportunity areas and translate them into concepts.

• You test ideas, share challenges and seek feedback
• Design and run experiments to validate product and interaction hypotheses.
• Create effective handover materials which clearly communicate how the design should look and behave throughout interaction flows and journeys (e.g. User flow diagrams, design specifications, experience/interaction specifications, etc).
• Create and test interactive prototypes.

Collaborate. You’ll partner with other designers, engineers, product developers and other disciplines throughout the Organization. You work with the product team to understand the vision for our customer experience and ensure quality in your design execution. You will present, share and take stakeholders on the journey of how you came to the design solution.

Be an advocate. For the client, for the product, for our users and for our values.

Requirements:

• Expertise in estimation and solution design
• A passion for creating simple solutions to complex problems
• Master communication and organizational skills
• Strong knowledge of software development processes, procedures, limitations, and challenges
• Knowledge and experience of agile methodology and frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, etc
• 4 + years experience in business / technical analysis and design
• The ability to work with stakeholders across functional boundaries and speak all their languages!
• A super analytical brain that can translate complex problems into stories that make sense
• An outcome-driven approach

Who We Are:

Wolkk was founded in 2022 in Bali, Canggu. We train, teach and coach technology driven software engineers in Indonesia to achieve high quality cloud applications and apps. Our German and Dutch founders have over 25 years of experience in the software industry. Wolkk is a remote company with a training center in Bali.
