About The Product Manager (Fintech) Role

In this business critical role, you will work with cross-functional teams to design, build and roll out products that deliver the company’s vision and strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, plan, analyse, evaluate features and products
• Able to self-organise under scrum methodology to collaborate and deliver features to customers
• Oversee the development and management of real-time systems to record revenue and costs
• Collaborate with UIUX and the technical team in the product development lifecycle
• Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth
• Create detailed product requirement specifications for handover to the tech team
• Collaborate with marketing and growth team to ensure opportunities are effectively covered and advanced
• Engage in product discovery to develop and iterate MVPs, based on available data, user research and third-party sources

To succeed in this role, you must have the ability working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment and passionate about building products based on customer needs.

Key Requirements

• Extreme attention to detail, concisely communicates complex concepts, and is equally excited about 99.9999% reliability and financial correctness as well as beautiful product UX and API design
• A mix of great technical depth, principled thinking and well-honed product judgement
• Four or more years of work experience in product management
• Strong business acumen, supply chain mindset and B2B product experience is a plus point
• Beyond just shipping new products, you obsess about continuous product improvement and can optimise for shipping a portfolio of small, medium and large releases
• Thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Bonus points if you have worked at a rapidly growing startup
• A creative product thinker who loves collaborating across the company with engineering, growth, business development, marketing, design, data, sales, customer success, etc. The space is designed to encourage as much collaboration as possible
• Business-metrics-savvy; key understand of business metrics, how metrics interact with other metrics, and levers behind it
• Bachelor's degree from Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering, Business Studies Management, or equivalent
• Super-structured way of thinking; able to translate ‘abstract’ or ‘open-ended’ business goals/concepts into actionable initiatives
• Focus and thoughtfulness on data and analytics to solve problems and experience achieving results through continuous improvement
• Experience in iterative, agile software delivery, short release cycles
• Experience managing technical software products from kick-off to ship
