Job Description

KMPlus is looking for Senior Facilitator, someone who has experience and expertise in the field of facilitation especially in Knowledge Management. As a Senior Facilitator, you will be responsible for designing and leading more complex and high-level facilitation processes.


Here are the qualifications or abilities that a facilitator should possess:


  • Communication skills: A facilitator should be able to communicate clearly, effectively, and firmly to ensure that all participants understand the information being conveyed.
  • Leadership skills: A facilitator should be able to lead and guide participants to achieve their desired goals.
  • Facilitation skills: A facilitator should be able to facilitate activities or discussions well and provide clear guidance on tasks to be done.
  • Time management skills: A facilitator should be able to manage time well and ensure that all tasks or activities can be completed according to the schedule set.
  • Problem-solving skills: A facilitator should be able to solve problems that occur during the facilitation process and find appropriate solutions.
  • Knowledge and expertise in Knowledge Management: A facilitator should have adequate knowledge and skills in Knowledge Management to understand the related issues and help participants achieve their desired goals.
  • Conflict resolution ability: A facilitator should be able to resolve conflicts that arise among participants in an effective way and avoid larger conflicts.
  • Patience and empathy: A facilitator should have patience and the ability to listen empathetically and understand participants' views, helping them to achieve their desired goals.
  • Creativity: A facilitator should be able to create creative ideas that can help participants achieve their desired goals.
  • Information technology skills: A facilitator should be able to use the necessary information technology during the facilitation process, such as virtual meeting applications, communication platforms, and others.


Here is a list of requirements that a facilitator should have:


  • Knowledge of facilitation tools and techniques: A facilitator should have knowledge of facilitation tools and techniques, including group dynamics, problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution.
  • Technical skills: A facilitator should have technical skills in using the necessary software, hardware, and equipment required during the facilitation process, such as virtual meeting platforms, digital tools, and audiovisual equipment.
  • Educational qualification: A facilitator should have at least a bachelor's degree in a relevant field. A master's degree or a certification in facilitation is an added advantage.
  • Interpersonal skills: A facilitator should have excellent interpersonal skills, including active listening, effective communication, empathy, and the ability to build trust and rapport with participants.
  • Professionalism: A facilitator should be professional in their conduct, including being punctual, prepared, and maintaining a high standard of ethical behavior.
  • Positive attitude: A facilitator should have a positive attitude towards their work, participants, and challenges that arise during the facilitation process.
  • Continuing education: A facilitator should engage in ongoing education and training to keep up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and techniques in facilitation and related fields.
  • Cultural sensitivity: A facilitator should be aware of cultural differences and be able to work with participants from diverse backgrounds with respect and sensitivity.
  • Relevant experience: A facilitator should have relevant experience in the field being facilitated. This includes practical experience in facilitation, leadership, communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution.
  • Flexibility and adaptability: A facilitator should be flexible and adaptable to changing situations, able to adjust plans, and respond to unexpected challenges during the facilitation process.
