Senior Associate, Business Advisory Service

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Review drafts of circular resolutions of the GMS, both annual and extraordinary according to the data and information submitted by our clients
• Perform other duties as assigned from time to time
• Work closely with other departments to ensure the deliverable of DSA’s work in compliance with the local regulations
• Ensure internal and client's legal compliances, including submission of mandatory manpower report, investment report, activity report, and others as assigned
• Be responsible for compliance and all legal matters related to HR and work permit/VISA
• Review drafts of power of attorney and statement letters, be responsible in handling corporate establishment of PT PMA, local PT, representative office in Indonesia
• Promoting DSA’s legal services through any platforms, including through events and webinars
• Be responsible for contract drafting and business licensing for DSA’s clients
• Be responsible for communication and coordination with various government authorities and other related companies, including but not limited to the BKPM, ministry, banks, partners and conducting an on-site visit as needed.
• Review drafts of deeds of establishment/amendment in accordance with the purpose and objective conveyed by clients
• Drafting newsletter for regulatory updates in Indonesia
• Assisting clients for bank account opening process in Indonesia
• Providing legal advisory in any forms (call, email correspondence, memorandum) to clients

General Requirements

• Research applicable regulations and provide recommendations and advisory to add value for clients related to legal issues.
• Perform such other tasks as may be assigned from time to time.
• Attending meeting together with International Business Advisory colleague for prospects, clients, targets’ representatives, and other advisors related to accounting and tax matters.
• Consistently upgrading knowledge with regards to regulatory updates in Indonesia that could potentially affect DSA service to the clients.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Education and Skill Requirement(s)

• Bachelor’s degree in law.
• Strong sense of ethics with emphasis on confidentiality and integrity.
• High level of teamwork, responsible, and decisive.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Have at least 3 years’ full-time experience as a corporate lawyer.
• Capable and eager to work with various types of people.
• Strong verbal and written English skills.
• Proactive manner in working.
• Strong organizational, analytical thinking, communication, and multi-tasking capabilities.
• Licensed PERADI.

2. Additional Requirements

• Having a general knowledge about FDI in Indonesia in accordance with the prevailing laws that are applicable for local PT, representative office, permanent establishment, and/or PT PMA in Indonesia.
• Willing to coordinate and work corporately with internal and/or regional colleague(s) in delivering services to DSA’s clients.
• Strong organizational, analytical thinking, communication, and multi-tasking capabilities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proactive manner in working.
• Able to communicate efficiently and concisely with clients and colleagues both verbal and written in English.
• High level of teamwork, responsible, and decisive.
