Job Description

Purpose of the Job


As a Sales Engineer for Industry, you will be responsible for providing technical support to customers in the Industrial Solutions sale channel (Partners, OEMs, and Industrial End Users) ensuring specification and correct application of Grundfos products, and effective management of the sales life cycle through use of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool. This role will also be responsible for sharing knowledge and opportunities outside of the designated sales channel to promote sales and profitability across Grundfos Pumps Indonesia.


The ideal candidate should be able to carry out agreed annual tactical plans and activities. Support management and colleagues within the team to deliver team targets. This role is flexible and can seat in our office located in Surabaya, Indonesia


Responsibilities:


  • Ensure all reporting is accurate and presented within an acceptable time frame e.g. expenses
  • Identify and implement new opportunities within the division to increase share of wallet and potential growth areas.
  • Maintain and improve Sales Standard
  • Meet facetime targets to achieve desirable results
  • Identification and development of new business with the potential to use Grundfos products and services.
  • Actively adhere to sales processes, including the management of the Customer Relationship Database (CRM)
  • Any other responsibilities commensurate with the position as required
  • Conduct customer training including online and face to face formats
  • Provide basic technical support to dealers, and end users ensuring specification and correct application of Grundfos products
  • Provide high-quality customer service, reflecting solid knowledge of customer needs and perception of best value


Skills and Experience Required:


  • Ability to direct processes or projects and liaise with multiple stakeholders to achieve effective and acceptable outcomes.
  • Efficient ability to influence others and possess a great understanding of the relevant systems, local laws, specifications and regulations where applicable for the customers' requirements
  • Experience in selling pump or rotation equipment is desirable
  • Experience of working in a Key Account role
  • Must have good knowledge of different software tools such as SAP, MS Office, CRM, and other relevant applications
  • Bachelor in business or engineering combined with at least 3 years of relevant experience from a large international company working in a similar role
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work from home should COVID restrictions require it
  • Frequent travel within the role should be expected
