About Our Client
Our client is a global well-known brand that a lot of Indonesians are very familiar with. Publicly listed, they are one of the leading names in the health-care industry. Recognising the importance of Indonesia as a key market, they are investing in bringing on board a seasoned Public Policy Manager to define their priorities and policies.

The right candidate will be responsible to play a pivotal role in spearheading the collaborations with policy makers, patient advocacy groups, health care professionals to unlock policy and other barriers in this highly regulated sector. Other responsibilities include:

• Improving the lives of the patients through developing a strong understanding of priority diseases, and political-economic environment on the health care policy.
• Developing and implementing policy shaping which includes mapping and assessing barriers from the patients views.
• Leading the coordination and execution of policy strategies to drive improvement in the services/products provided by the clients.
• Overseeing and building relationships with external stakeholders such as policymakers, clinical experts, and professional communities.
• Working closely with multiple stakeholders (commercial, medical, market access teams) to transform the health care sector.
• Initiating and developing the delivery of policy shaping and patient activation programs.
• Maximising the current's media efforts, partnerships, and other policy advocacy tools.
• Becoming a business partner from the policy's standpoint to educate and share relevant latest policy insights.

The Successful Applicant
The right candidate should be able to communicate in Bahasa and English and comes from global health care/pharmaceutical companies. Other requirements include:

• Solid analysis on development of policy issues.
• Understanding of national political and economic priorities.
• A smart risk-taker who thrives on new challenges.
• Ability to foster positive working relationships, especially with policy-makers.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and multi-national setting.
• Strategic thinker, and the passion to improve lives of Indonesians through better medical care.
• Bachelor degree from reputable university, with Public Policy degree.
• At least 8-10 years of working experience in the public policy field, with relevant industry: pharmaceutical, medical or health care. Talent who has experience in health-tech companies are welcome to apply.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
