Financial Data Analyst (Healthcare Startup)

Hourly Rate: $12-$22 USD

Mira Health is a mission-driven health-tech startup focused on providing affordable healthcare solutions for millions of uninsured and underinsured Americans. We seek an experienced, talented Finance & Data Analyst to join our team, helping generate valuable insights that drive our operational and growth KPIs.

This is a contract position with 15-20 hours of commitment per week.

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with Mira leadership to define analysis requirements, explore insightful questions, and determine necessary inputs and outputs for each analysis.

- Analyze historical provider payment data and forecast monthly run rates to optimize financial performance.

- Reconcile invoices from providers and vendors, ensuring accuracy in collaboration with operations.

- Utilize tools such as Tableau, Excel, and Google Sheets to analyze data and generate insights related to member utilization, conversion & churn trends, and other relevant metrics.

- Effectively communicate data-driven insights and stories to drive operational and growth KPIs.

Requirements:

- 4+ years of experience in an analytic role such as FP&A, corporate development, consulting, accounting, or financial analysis

- Master's or Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or analytics from a top program.

- Strong attention to detail, capable of handling tedious tasks efficiently.

- Quick learner with creative problem-solving skills.

- Proficient in various statistical methods and strong analytical skills.

- Proficiency in Excel, Tableau, and Google Sheets is essential.
