Job Description

‎



  • Provide support on brand campaign towards government stakeholders (policymakers and others) by socializing Traveloka values and missions
  • Build strategy and advise the company on emerging regulations that are related to business to ensure the success of the team's goals and provide strategic guidance to internal teams.
  • Run a stakeholder mapping exercise regularly to develop a holistic engagement strategy and provide support on relationship management as necessary
  • Monitor the development of Indonesia’s recent regulation and work with PPGR team, legal and other related teams to prepare the narrative as responses of the regulation,
  • Identify, track, research, and analyze existing, emerging, and potential public policy issues; collaborate with Traveloka BUs and Functions to determine business impact and to develop strategic and tactical plans to manage issues both internally and externally
  • Maintain and develop a strong network of third-party public interest groups, industry associations and academics engaged in technology policy issues.
  • Prepare training, presentation materials and data-driven reports, including Keynote presentations, case studies, training products, and/or best practice guides.
  • Provide front-line technical support to stakeholders (ranging from government, agencies, NGO and academia) of Traveloka, solving problems and escalating to internal services support and policy teams as needed.
  • Proactively identify and address emerging and significant policy issues, impending legislation, as well as regulatory developments in Indonesia, that could present risks with implications for the company and its products.

Requirements


  • Major in Law, Public Administration, Public Policy, International Affairs (master preferred)
  • Deep experience and agility in working across multiple functions, influencing, and collaborating with others to successfully implement programs and initiatives.
  • Strong network of governments, parliaments, experts, academics and NGOs, able to help direct the company regarding new trends and research in the area of digital technology, travel and tourism.
  • General understanding of laws and regulations in Indonesia
  • Strong research and analysis abilities.
  • Deep understanding of the key public policy issues that impact digital technology, travel and tourism, payments services, including licensing, , sanctions compliance, etc.
  • Excellent English language fluency, spoken and written.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills: the individual will need to work with other departments including, but not limited to policy/legal/communications staff to assess needs, alignment and path for collaboration.
  • 3+ years dedicated public policy/government relations experience
  • Excellent judgment, persuasive and advocacy skills, creativity, and the ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
