Presales Api Management & Middleware Consultant

Requirement:

•Has experience, or willing become an expert in the domain of IBM API Connect, IBM App Connect, Apigee, Kong

•Is passionate about API’s and micro services

•Is very keen about DevOps leveraging Kubernetes and Security using OpenID Connect

•Deep experience in at least one of the major middleware solutions; IBM App Connect is preferred, but experience with other JEE platforms is also acceptable

•Experience with Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) technologies

•Experience with software version control tools

•Solid foundation in agile development methodologies

•Has 3+ years of Api Management

•3+ years of experience and advanced knowledge of middleware and JEE, including enterprise web or middleware development project experience

•Advanced Java and architecture experience with demonstrated architect-level involvement with many aspects of middleware

Responsibilities:

•This role requires hands-on experience to conduct solution discovery/Assessment/Design/Implement and deliver customer requirements. People need to have experience to run discovery sessions on customer App landscape, arrive at design and clearly recommend app migration strategy.

•You design, implement, test and document the API management and Middleware solutions

•You help our clients to make the switch to an API first way of working

•You define robust microservices and hybrid cloud architectures

•You setup the architecture and development process for customers starting with IBM API Connect/Apigee/Kong/IBM App Connect

•You demonstrate new solutions and product capabilities to customers

•You participate in pre-sales activities and find new business opportunities

•Working with a sales team to determine API & Middleware solutions to customers’ challenges and supporting the sales team to present proposals to clients.

•Providing demonstrations, POC, presentations, training, consultation and sales support services for the sales team and existing clients.

•Building relationships with customers and proactively seeking new sales opportunities by developing new relationships with prospective clients.

•Support of the sales team in the response to RFI/RFP with the completion of tender documents.
