Operations Innovation Support Analyst

Team Overview
The Operations Innovation Support Analyst role sits within Schroders’ Operations Innovation. Operations Innovation is responsible for Schroders’ digital workforce – configuration, run, optimisation and related operational change.
Operations Innovation engages and collaborates with other business teams within Schroders such as compliance and risk, business consulting, data and insights, and Global Technology to identify, prioritise and automate business processes. Once automated, the group is responsible for the ongoing support and optimisation of the digital workforce.
Role Overview
This is a permanent role with excellent learning and career progression opportunities. Structured training will be provided and there will be significant exposure to new technologies and innovation. Opportunities to move into other technical development roles are also available.
This Operations Innovation Resource Will Cover The Following Areas
The Operations Innovation Support Analyst works closely with Automation Analysts and Business Users to support processes that have been automated.

• Maintenance of utility processes owned by the team
• Tracking and maintaining documentation on incidents logged and configuration changes that have been made
• Communicate effectively with Business Users to understand issues with automated processes and provide solutions or escalations if required
• Building of new Robotic Process Automation (Blue Prism) processes
• Troubleshoot and perform fixes for automated processes handed over to Support team
• Perform Change Requests for automated solutions
• Support processes that have been automated using Robotic Process Automation (Blue Prism)
• Plan and prioritize own work and ensure on-time delivery of assigned tasks
• Maintenance of processes
• Ad hoc Tasks assigned
• MI Reporting for Production Support
• Collaborate and work effectively with team members

Essential Skills

• Excellent customer service skills
• Positive work attitude and self-starter
• Degree in IT, Computer Studies, Computer Engineering, Business IT
• Graduating students and fresh graduates are welcomed to apply
• Ability to meet agreed deadlines
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Knowledge of programming, including scripting/coding. (For example, knowledge of one or more of the following – .NET (C#), .NET framework application development, JS, VBS, JavaScript, or SQL)

Desirable Skills

• Experience with RPA tools (Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, UIPath)
• Experience in a Production Support or programming role
• Experience in Power Query
• Experience with Incident Management Framework
• Experience in Power Platform
