Mineral Technical Planning & Services Manager

Main Function:

• Perspectives.
• Review, evaluate and conduct field investigations for greenfield and brownfield coal and mineral projects and provide decision on asset acquisitions from geological, mining and processing
• Resource & Reserve estimation in accordance with JORC (mineral & coal)
• Identify the areas for potential resource upside
• Hands on experience in geological modelling and mine planning
• Train, update the skills and evaluate the performance of the subordinates
• Provide timely geological grade, mineralogical assemblages and critical geological data required for the mine planning, mining operation and processing with an accuracy of 90% against the actual.

Skill and Experience:

• A minimum of graduation in geology with 12 to 15 years experience in mining industry.
• Conveying information in a concise and practical manner and actively seeking inputs from employee
• Analytical ability to determine the root cause of problems
• Must process excellent verbal and written communication skills
• At least 3 years experience in the role of Principal Geologist either in an operating mine or consultancy
• Must have the ability to influence the behavior of others through establishing effective relationships
• Ability to work with limited supervision
• Experience in coal, precious and base metals geology, mining and processing
• Hands on experience in geological modelling and mine planning
• Able to interact with all levels of personnel
