Technical Superintendent (Bulk Carrier)

JOB SUMMARY :

Responsible for ensuring assigned vessel are in operational ready by providing comprehensive maintenance from both technical and nautical aspects – Establish plan, coordinating and analyzing all activities related to vessel maintenance and vessel equipment performance data on a regular basis both at the time of docking or when the operation to ensure the high standard of maintenance / repair are meet with target as assigned from company

KEY RESPONSIBILITY :

• Planning and evaluating the implementation of the work of vessel crew, identifying and recommending skills based competencies if required
• Coordinate ship maintenance / repair work based on daily / monthly / annual work plans.
• Organize, evaluate and carry out technical analysis regarding the condition of the ship along with the components in it to identify the necessary care and recommend the right solution if there’s any problems occurs
• Implement the SOP that is in its work area and periodically make improvements to the work process
• Establish a periodic maintenance schedule and repairs for vessels under their responsibility at Fleetand also set for docking schedules
• Control and evaluate equipment damage occurs, optimize response and provide accurate problem solving references
• Evaluate for vessel crew in engine room area
• Control and evaluate the status of ship equipment, quality of documents/report and made in maintenance log books

REQUIREMENTS :

• Possess good analytical thinking, proactive, good leadership and able to work Collaboratively
• Candidate must Certified asAhli Teknika Tingkat 1 (ATT-1)
• Have sailing experience as Chief Engineer in Bulk Carrier (Panamax Size) at least 3 contract,preferably candidates with shore experience as Technical Superintendent for at least 1 year
• Willing to travel frequently
• Familiar with vessel operation and docking process
• Vast knowledge in maritime industries
