Coordination with Ichikoh and regional Valeo organization in order to ensure the competitiveness and full-compliance of Valeo offers with the expectations and requirements of the Customer he/she has in charge.


  • Participate in project teams in order to explain and defend the customer’s viewpoint in terms of quality, costs, delivery times and in order to satisfy their technical requirements.
  • Inform the customer(s) of and valorize the technical and economic aspects of the product, and especially systems, applications: feeds the marketing approach by ensuring an internal feedback of the information received during his contacts with the customers.
  • Ensure that the customers’ requirements are all identified and well understood by the project teams.
  • Determine with Ichikoh sales team the sales price objectives according to his knowledge of the market and competitors position.
  • Analyse with Ichikoh sales team the competitors’ positions and integrates them in the sales and marketing action plan.
  • Initiate and conduct all possible actions in order to be able to submit, within the time limits, a competitive quotation technically and economically.


Coordinate offer building and the negotiation during business acquisition process with Ichikoh, regional Valeo organization and the Customer he/she has in charge.


  • Negotiate with the customer(s) and assure the strict application of the General Sales Conditions of the Valeo Group.


Achieve commercial objectives (Growth, Turnover, Market Shares, Order Intake, Price Management).


Prepare the budget, manage and report the order intake target list.


  • Manages and report the order intake target list.
  • Prepare the budget for the customer(s) he/she is in charge of, in his/her region.


The Key Account Manager is accountable for:


  • Participating to the Regional Customer Development Plan reliability & consistency with MTP/budget.
  • Delivering commercial objectives with a given customer: Growth, Turnover, Market shares, Order Intake, in his/her region
  • Contributing with each regional sales organization strategy to develop our market shares with his customer


JOB QUALIFICATION


Bachelor or master degree in Engineering, Business, Sales/Marketing


Min 5 years experience as key account manager in automotive industry


Excellent Leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. Strong business intelligence ,customer focus, and promote collaborative attitude
