We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Director to ensure that all Human Resources operations are carried on smoothly & effectively. Taking part in the decisions making processes of the Human resources Department and for ensuring afterwards that all decisions are fully implemented in the overall operation of the Hotel. The Director of Human Resources will report directly to the General Manager of the property, with dotted- line reporting relationship to the Owning Company.

Responsibilities

• Establishes relationships with external organizations, including government offices, training providers, auditors, and professional associations.
• Complies, ensuring with Indonesia and local legal requirements by studying new regulation, anticipating changes to legislation, adherence to these requirements and advising management.
• Collaborates with management team to ensure department orientation processes are in place and employee receive the appropriate new hire training to successfully perform their job.
• Represents Human Resources at the property Safety Commitee, help to identify ways to create awareness of the importance of safety in the workplace and decrease accident frequency and severity.
• Coordinate with government offices to ensure the Hotel is complying with all company licenses, permits, work permit, Visas, etc for foreign workers and provides advise for General Manager and Hotel Owner
• Develop Employee Recognition program that is inspiring, creative, and motivating associates.
• Responsible for industrial relationship, village affairs, and corporate social responsibility activities
• Together with the General Manager, Department Heads and Financial Controller to control manning and payroll composition of the organization.
• Ensure the development and implementation of training plan based on the career development program and training needs analysis.
• Manage the function and overall activities of Human Resources including manning, employee selection & recruitment, orientation, coaching, training, counseling, discipline employees, performance review, compensation and benefit, oversee HR initiatives, system and tactics.
• Manages Human Resources, Training & Development, and General Affair ensuring compliance with all hotel policies and procedures, both local and government regulation pertaining to employment practices

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in law or Physiology or related field of study
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills, able to set direction, motivate and lead the team.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Human Resources Management, preferably in 5-star hotel
• Good understanding of labor legislation,
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Outgoing pleasant personality possesses a positive attitude and displays confidence.
