Financial Accountant (Maternity Cover - 4 Months Contract)

What you'll do:

Sony Music Entertainment Indonesia

• Assist in budget preparation - collect/review budget information, IP input, Budget pack preparation
• Month-end report preparation
• Working closely with the SEA hub team in Singapore
• Assist the management team in preparing the finance presentation when required
• Submit market share report to Local IFPI (ASIRI)
• Any other Accounting and Finance related duties assigned
• Internal control - make sure necessary internal control procedures are in place
• Ensure the timely review and follow-up of the outstanding accounts receivable
• Statutory audit - liaison with the auditor and prepare the required documents
• Assist in monthly forecasting (Digital sales forecast and IP input, Forecast reports preparation)
• Month-end closing entries preparation
• Improve and simplify existing processes
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliation and schedules

Sony Music Publishing Indonesia

• Review & Approve payments
• Working closely with Regional Finance Director (based in HK) in reporting
• Statutory audit - liaison with the auditor and prepare the required documents
• Month-end closing entries
• Month-end report preparation

Who you are:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting / finance

• Minimum 3-4 years’ work experience in Accounting & Finance. Experience in audit is preferred

• Possess Brevet A & B Tax Certification and having good knowledge in Indonesia Taxation will be an advantage

• SAP and Business Warehouse experience

• Proficient in English – both written and verbally

• Extensive journal preparation and upload to ledger

• Advanced computer software skills, including Excel and other financial software and tools for reporting and analysis purpose

• Experience of working for a multinational company with very tight month end reporting deadlines and demanding reporting requirement

• Process and deadline driven mindset with a keen eye for detail

• Ability to work independently

• Good interpersonal and communication skills and ability to integrate with fast paced dynamic environment
