Pet groomers are a crucial part of our management, building lasting relationships with customers and providing quality care to pets. Responsibilities

• Provide excellent care for pets, being gentle and patient with anxious and difficult dogs
• Clean and freshen pet hair by washing, shampooing, and conditioning it
• Shave, trim, and style pet hair according to the owner’s preferencesor to the breed standard
• Maintain overall pet hygiene by clipping nails, brushing teeth, and cleaning ears
• Protect the best interests of our customers and their pets, notifying owners of any concerns, including skin abnormalities, ear infections, ticks, and fleas
• Deliver outstanding customer service to pet owners by executing style requests, communicating clearly and honestly, and bringing a positive attitude to work each day
• Maintain a clean workstation by sanitizing and sweeping before the arrival of every client and at the end of every workday

Qualifications

• Excellent attention to detail
• Customer service skills
• The ability to accept criticism and work well under pressure
• Experience with animals in a professional or volunteer capacity
• The ability to work well with others
• Willingness to learn new skills and techniques
• Professional certification
• Demonstrated passion for animals, especially dogs
• Experience in pet grooming
• Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations
• Initiative, flexible and open to change
