Job Description

Learning and Organization Development Manager will report to Group Head of Human Resources.


The position is responsible for plans, develops, implements, and administers development and learning programs for company employees. Learning and Organization Development Manager also acts as liaison and advisor to the organization's leadership and facilitates initiatives across the organization.



Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse, develop and socialize policy and guideline to regulate the mechanism of job establishment, job changes requests to ensure well maintained job standard/ catalogue.
  • Consults with management on performance, organizational and leadership matters.
  • Develops learning activities, audio-visual materials, instructor guides and lesson plans.
  • Ensure the readiness & availability for system support needed for data/ file maintenance, record keeping, easy access for related parties and manage changes.
  • Exercise job evaluation, provide the concept and benchmark needed to ensure the availability of all job grade for promotion & succession planning purpose in respective directorate.
  • Ensure and review the availability and maintenance of valid and update organization chart and job description.
  • Makes assessments of effectiveness of training in terms of employee accomplishments and performance.
  • Facilitate and give advisory to related parties in term of job analysis exercise to develop organization structure and job description.
  • Identifies and incorporates best practices and lessons learned into program plans.
  • Reviews evaluations of learning courses, objectives, and accomplishments.
  • Directs the needs assessment for training and staff development to enhance the effectiveness of employee performance in achieving the goals and objectives of the company.
  • Designs, develops, and implements employee learning programs for management and employees.
  • Analyse and develop clear career path, especially for generic/ network positions for succession planning and to build motivation & high-performance culture for employees.
  • Conducts needs assessments to determine measures required to enhance employee job performance and overall company performance.
  • Trains employees on HR issues and practices. Presents course materials.



Key Requirements:

  • Minimal bachelor’s degree in management, Psychology or equivalent
  • Proven effective management skills.
  • Experience designing and implementing effective training and development programs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication with Strong Presentations skills.
  • Experience in human resource management, especially organization development, talent management, and learning and development.
  • Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Adapt with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods.
  • Minimum 5 years in Learning and Organization Development in related industry
  • Three years of training experience, and at least one year of management experience.
