Vice President Of Technology

We are seeking an accomplished and visionary Vice President of Technology (VP Tech) to lead our technology division, drive technical strategy, and oversee the execution of our technology initiatives. The VP Tech will play a pivotal role in aligning technology efforts with business goals, fostering innovation, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Risk Management: Identify potential technology risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, including cybersecurity vulnerabilities and compliance concerns.
• Innovation Management: Foster a culture of innovation by encouraging creativity, exploring new technologies, and driving the development of novel solutions that contribute to the company's competitive advantage.
• Technology Architecture: Define and enforce technology architecture standards, best practices, and guidelines to ensure consistency, scalability, and security of technical solutions.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, product management, and data science, to ensure seamless communication and alignment throughout the development process.
• Technical Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy that supports business growth, enhances customer experiences, and capitalises on emerging trends in the industry.
• Product Development Oversight: Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle, ensuring that products and solutions are developed in accordance with high-quality standards, within budget, and on schedule.
• Vendor and Partner Relationships: Manage technology partnerships, vendor relationships, and third-party collaborations to enhance the company's technological capabilities and offerings.
• Budget Management: Collaborate with the finance team to develop and manage the technology budget, optimising resource allocation to achieve strategic priorities.
• Talent Development: Attract, develop, and retain top-tier technical talent by providing mentorship, guidance, and opportunities for skill development and career growth.
• Technology Leadership: Provide strategic leadership by shaping the technology vision, setting goals, and guiding the technology team in alignment with the company's overall objectives.

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Profound understanding of relevant technologies, e.g., cloud computing, AI/ML, data analytics, cybersecurity.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration across teams and engage with stakeholders.
• Proven experience in managing technology budgets and optimising resource allocation.
