Job Description

The Vice President of Sales will play a pivotal role in developing and executing the company's go-to-market strategy. The successful candidate will be a strategic leader with a proven track record in sales management, relationship building, and market expansion.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, providing regular updates to the executive team and proposing corrective actions when necessary.
  • Forecast sales volumes and revenue projections, contributing to budgeting and financial planning processes.
  • Oversee the creation of compelling sales presentations, proposals, and promotional materials to effectively communicate the value proposition to potential partners.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and supply chain, to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.
  • Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and refine sales strategies accordingly.
  • Lead a high-performing sales team, providing guidance, mentoring, and performance management to achieve sales targets and objectives.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for online channels & offline channel (GT & MT) while aligning with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously enhance the company's sales approach.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with key retail partners, distributors, and stakeholders to drive collaborative growth.


Qualifications:

  • Leadership skills with a track record of building, mentoring, and managing successful sales teams.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of retail distribution channels, including relationships with major retailers and distributors.
  • Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Proven experience (10+ years) in sales leadership roles within the consumer goods industry, with a focus on both direct-to-consumer and traditional retail channels.
  • Proficiency in sales management software and tools.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet partners, attend trade shows, and visit retail locations.
  • Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and market expansion.
