Yayasan KNCV Indonesia is a partner of the KNCV Tuberculosis Foundation headquartered in The Hague, Netherlands. We collaborate and develop partnerships with the Government, international organizations, and local organizations in providing technical assistance and developing effective, efficient, innovative, and sustainable TB control strategies.

Currently, Yayasan KNCV Indonesia is looking for:
Technical Officer – HIV/AIDS
Duty Station : DKI Jakarta
The Technical Officer – HIV/AIDS will provide technical assistance with regards to the project activities and other stake holders, assist the project technical programmatic aspects related to HIV/AIDS, have primary technical oversight on HIV/AIDS activities VL coverage expansion, implementation of EQAS for VL test, etc. The Technical Officer – HIV/AIDS will work closely with the Laboratory Team.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Identify potential problems and advise Project Coordinator/Head of Technical Services on the necessary corrective actions, follow up the actions, and prepare brief reports on findings and recommendations
- Assist to ensure the existing specimen transportation application is used and work to link it with the national HIV AIDS and STI information system (SIHA)
- Assist to closely monitor the consumption of viral load reagents and cartridges and ensure all the machines are running as expected through coordination and communication among NAP and technician
- Provide quality technical assistance in the implementation and monitoring of the TA
- Performs other tasks as directed by the Executive Director/Head of Technical Services, or designee
- Provide support in the implementation of the project activities
- Ensure data collected used for the project are correct and valid
- Contribute to developing of ToR TA plan, review the deliverables on the technical quality
- Supervise the preparation of various reports (monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc) for key stakeholders
- Initiates and facilitates discussions with regards to the project activities
- Ensure implementation of external quality assurance (EQAS) for viral load test is conducted and the quality of testing is assured
- Engage with sub-national health offices, hospital management, primary care facilities including private facilities to support viral load testing
- Assist to enhance the capacity of medical service providers to ensure all eligible PLHIV on ART are tested for viral load according to algorithms and guidelines
- Prepare regular report and recommendations for problem solving/action plan (s)
- Maintain relations with stakeholders, partners and institutions
Qualifications and Competencies:
Educational Qualification:
- Medical Doctor/Officer preferably with NGO background
Competencies:
- Good interpersonal skills
- 2-3 years working experience working with health programs. Experience working in HIV/AIDS highly preferred
- Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills to measure the outcomes of project activities and to support project implementation
- Demonstrate strong relationships and coordination with HIV Program at the national and/or provincial levels preferred
- Ability to work in a team environment, while also completing individual tasks with minimal supervision
- Experience providing technical assistance and/or program monitoring & evaluation to the Ministry of Health
- Experience working in partnership with health programs supported by international agencies is highly preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in Indonesian and English
- Good communication and facilitation skills
