As a Service Engineer (GC focused), you will be responsible for executing service work with low to medium complexity according to work instructions and in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards and safety guidelines.
Reporting to Business Manager - E2E, you will be delivering quality customer service to satisfy customers. In close co-operation with customer and other ABB teams, take actions to identify new service business opportunities for ABB.
This position is based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Your responsibilities

• Performing field service tasks, identifies technical problems and makes analysis through remote or on-site activity in service categories and products for which they are certified to perform
• Preparing material lists needed for service activity and ensures that all materials, parts and equipment are available and at the appropriate quality for service activities
• Applying safety rules and safe practices as well as environmental responsibilities. Reporting unsafe practices and incidents
• Contributing to customer satisfaction by planning and executing service work according to customer order and expectation
• Troubleshooting equipment/process failures and requests proactive corrective actions and makes recommendations to avoid repeating the problem in the future
• Proactively planning and executing work on a first-time right approach with customers, and ensures the job is done on time and on quality
• Preparing all documents and customer reports to be signed by the customer representative. Utilizing all relevant tools

Your background

• Flexibility to travel on on-call basis
• Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field
• Excellent troubleshooting, commissioning and maintenance of the same or similar products
• Understanding of Measurement and Analytics products and/or solutions is an advantage
• A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills
• Knowledge in Microsoft suite
• Strong customer service mindset
