We’re looking for a skilled Onsite RAN Delivery Engineer for delivery and subsequent operations of SmartCM (OSS CM) platform to understand our customers’ needs and responsible for driving the customer business initiatives forward working with the Operations and Engineering teams and providing 1st and 2nd level support to configuration management applications currently in deployment phase.

Education, Knowledge and Skills:

• Oracle DB and / or PL/SQL experience needed
• Experience with network planning and configuration management
• Participate in business testing of solutions
• Good understanding of relational databases and solid SQL skills
• Networking & storage management experience a plus
• 5+ years of relevant experience in similar onsite delivery & support capacity
• Fluent in English and Bahasa, written and spoken is a must
• 2+ years of SQL, PL/SQL experience
• Experience on Ericsson, Huawei, ZTE OSS specifically with an understanding of the various parameters used in Network Planning process, their configuration and impact to the Network.
• Familiarity with planning tools such as Planet is a plus
• Must be able to write complex SQL statement to help in data extraction and / or troubleshooting
• Good understanding of Operating Systems (Unix/Linux), Networks, and System Administration experience
• Demonstrated technical troubleshooting ability
• Solid scripting skills (e.g., shell scripts, Perl, Ruby, Python, JAVA)
• Experience on testing of CM solutions, as well as on performing user acceptance testing
• 2+ years of Oracle Database experience
• BS/MS degree in Math, Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
• Experience of large volume file data processing ETL systems
• Scripting a must (Shell - PL/SQL - PowerShell)
• Responsibility for delivery and operations of a complex system
• Demonstrated ability to apply technology in solving business problems and to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences
• Familiarity with telecom engineering concepts for various wireless technologies including GSM, UMTS, LTE, NR
• Intellectually curious, reliable, and flexible team player
• Strong written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities & Duties

• Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability;
• Perform system and data backups; performs release testing and upgrade deployments and define new data collection and analysis processes. This includes UAT (User Acceptance Testing);
• Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes;
• Identify operational problems by observing and studying system functioning and performance results; investigating problems and suggestions; interacting with the engineering team; performing troubleshooting procedures.
• Server setup, deployment and maintenance (including hardware maintenance through vendor).
• Liaise with vendors, developers and other IT personnel for problem resolution;
• Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure;
• Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools;
• Debug and troubleshoot issues with configuration management applications and APIs, including debugging scripts and finding erroneous data on Databases tables.
• Collaborate with the business team on customer requirements gathering and convert them into technical requirements;
• Understand the various parameters used in Network Planning process, their configuration and impact to the Network, specifically related to Ericsson, Huawei, ZTE OSSs.
• Develop operational solutions by defining, studying, estimating, and screening alternative solutions; determining impact of failures (or new additions) on total system;
• Maintain environment by following and enforcing operating standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations; maintaining system security;

Working conditions

This role is in Jakarta, Indonesia and therefore only local will be preferred.
