Senior Financial Analyst (Contract-Based)

A mining company based in Jakarta are currently recruiting for a Senior Financial Analyst (Contract-based) job to join their existing team. The ideal candidate has three to five years of experience in budgeting and reporting knowledge within the industry. In this job you will be responsible for all commercial finance matters for the company along with budgeting, reporting and cost controlling.

About The Senior Financial Analyst (Contract-based) Role

This is a critical role within the finance division reporting directly to the Head of Business Analyst. Based in Jakarta, this is a great opportunity to join the finance team of a growing company.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare quarterly reports, investor presentations and other investor information
• Work with department managers agree key performance indicators to measure performance. Implement systems to ensure information is captured and reported on a timely basis
• Prepare analysis on tender evaluations, capital purchases, new initiatives and other commercial decisions. Assist in negotiating implementations of these initiatives
• Understand information systems requirements from executive management and site management and set Business Systems strategy to align with business strategy
• Support site in the preparation of annual budgets and provide a consolidated budget
• Prepare consolidated monthly financial report for the group and board presentations
• Develop business systems and analysis teams to deliver specific tasks and objectives
• Prepare life of mine financial models for all sites
• Implement and improve business systems on time and budget. Prioritise projects in accordance with Executive objectives

The successful Senior Financial Analyst (Contract-based) possesses good communication skill and strong business partnering.

Key Requirements

• Positive, driven, enthusiastic and ambitious for the business
• At least 15 years’ experience in financial analysis, reporting and systems implementation
• SAP knowledge is a plus
• Bachelor's (or above) degree in Accounting or equivalent
• Good command of English
• Background in financial or mining discipline
• Sense of responsibility
