About the Opportunity

As a Volunteer QA, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning and exceptional user experience of the company platform. Your testing expertise and meticulous approach will help identify and address any issues, bugs, or usability concerns, ensuring that our users have a seamless and enjoyable immersive entertainment experience.

Responsibilities:

• Functional and Regression Testing: Conduct thorough functional testing of new features, enhancements, and bug fixes, as well as regression testing to ensure that existing functionality remains intact.
• Usability and User Experience Testing: Evaluate the company platform from a user perspective, providing feedback on usability, accessibility, and overall user experience to drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborative Problem Solving: Work closely with the development team to troubleshoot and diagnose issues, providing clear and concise feedback to facilitate effective issue resolution.
• Bug Reporting and Documentation: Document and report identified defects and issues using established bug tracking systems, including clear reproduction steps and relevant information for effective resolution.
• Performance and Load Testing: Execute performance and load testing scenarios to assess the platform’s performance under various conditions and identify potential bottlenecks or performance issues.
• Test Planning and Execution: Collaborate with the development team to define test objectives, create test plans, and execute test cases to identify software defects and ensure overall product quality.
• Test Automation: Contribute to test automation efforts by creating and maintaining test scripts and frameworks to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency.

Requirements:

Strong attention to detail and passion for ensuring product quality.

Experience in manual testing and a solid understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.

Familiarity with bug-tracking systems and test management tools.

Ability to follow test plans and execute test cases accurately and efficiently.

Good analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and isolate issues.

Excellent communication skills to provide clear and concise bug reports.

Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks is a plus.

Enthusiasm for immersive entertainment and a desire to contribute to its advancement.
