About the Opportunity

Epistimis is about knowledge – we need someone to collect it. What kind of knowledge?

Privacy Law & Tech is changing rapidly. We need someone who can keep up with what is happening and keep the rest of the team informed. This means knowing about competitors, what different country regulators are thinking about, what professional organizations are doing, conferences coming up, and more.

Activities

Work with our Founder to:

• Organize information from many different sources and present it in a digestible form to the software development team on a regular basis. Every factual claim must be backed by references. Opinions and analysis are welcome but not required – if offered, they should be clearly noted as such.
• Read law, regulations, court cases and third-party analyses of the same.
• Identify parts of the law that define rules and processes that anyone handling other people’s data must follow.

Our needs

• Excellent communication skills.
• The ability to organize information from many different sources and present it in a digestible form to the rest of the team on a regular basis. Every factual claim must be backed by references. Opinions and analysis are welcome but not required – if offered, they should be clearly noted as such.
• Ability to maintain the highest level of professionalism.
• Self-learner and ability to execute tasks without any supervision.
• A deep interest in continuous education.
• Fluency in English – both written and spoken.

Learn some about Data Privacy – a growing field – and tech in general the UK’s tech ecosystem.
