Experience Software Quality Assurance Test Engineer

We are looking for a humble, purpose-driven person to join our Quality Team. This position is for hybrid working, contract-based n required work in the office a few times a week

Responsibilities

• Contribute or lead engineering efforts from planning, execution, and delivery to solving complex engineering problems in tools and testing
• Optimize, and maintain team-oriented tools or tests to increase productivity and lead a team of decent size.
• Develop scalable and reliable tests for software and feature quality at both the system level, user levels both functional n non functional.
• Ability to lead testing activities and engagement with cross-functional teams
• Design, create, modify, and execute test strategies/plans and drive to improve software testing processes and methodologies.

Must have qualifications:

• CAN-BREAK attitude for cleverly uncovering defects.
• INFINITE MINDSET is a MUST.
• Hands-on experience with database query and modeling.
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Hands-on experience with type script or Java-based.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Hands-on experience with logs
• Min 3 to 4 yrs work experience in Software Testing
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science
• Hands-on experience with services testing, e.g. rest, grpc, graphsql
• POSITIVE ATTITUDE is a MUST

Preferred qualifications:

- Experience with collaboration tools, e.g. Jira, Google Workspace, Testrail, app distribution, appcenter.

- Experience with testing, observability n deployment tools, e.g. Git Client, DB Client, Rest Client, K6, Cypress, VS Code, Appium, new relic.
